SHINE Goal Setting 2025

Happy New Year!

I’m so excited to step into this fresh chapter. There’s something truly magical about a clean slate, a list of aspirations, and a brand-new planner filled with possibilities. The year is already off to a heartwarming start—prenatal consultations are rolling in, which means more beautiful babies are on the way! My biggest goal for SHINE remains clear: to support as many families as possible on their breastfeeding and postpartum journey.

Continuing education is at the core of this mission. By staying up-to-date with evidence-based practices, I can provide the best care and guidance to every family I have the privilege of serving.

As SHINE grows and evolves, I am constantly inspired by you—the heart and soul of this practice. Without your trust and support, SHINE simply wouldn’t exist. Reflecting on the many connections I’ve made since launching SHINE less than two years ago fills me with such gratitude.

While I’m no stranger to lactation care, supporting new moms and families, or navigating the prenatal and postpartum journeys, running a private practice continues to be a learning experience. There’s always room to grow—whether it’s improving time management, streamlining processes, or finding new ways to reach more families. These challenges energize me, and I’ve been doing a little “audit” of my business to see how far we’ve come. What worked in Year 1? What improved in Year 2? And what can I refine to make Year 3 even better?

Exciting things are on the horizon! This year, I’m focused on expanding access to lactation support and providing education when families need it most—like during those quiet, sleepless moments in the middle of the night.
