FREE VISITS WITH ME?! Check if you’re covered!!

I am beyond excited to be partnering with The Lactation Network!

If you’re new here, let me tell you a little bit about the process of when you book a consultation with me. If you have found me through my website, the way to connect with me the quickest is to fill out a CONTACT FORM. Once you have filled this out, I will be notified via my email (stephanie@shine-lactation.com) of a new contact and I will then contact YOU!

Through the contact form, you will note what services you are interested in. I will follow-up with an email to you and the very first thing I will ask is that we check to see if we can get your lactation visits covered with NO cost to you. The Lactation Network has been a wonderful partnership in which families can quickly check to see if lactation visits will be covered through insurance.

The Lactation Network (TLN) is an advocate for increasing the standard of care around breastfeeding and believes that every mom should have access to lactation services and the best of the best when it comes to insurance-covered breastfeeding resources to help you achieve your feeding goals.

The Lactation Network works closely with International Board Certified Lactation Concultants (IBCLC's--that's ME!) by making it very simple to handle paperwork and billing of your insurance directly. This is great news for families because it takes the headache out of dealing with insurance and prevents out of pocket cost to families needing lactation support. TLN will accept most Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, Cigna PPO plans, and all PNOA plans. Note that PNOA will often appear alongside other payers on the medical insurance card like Aetna or UHC. If the card includes the PNOA logo at all we can take them.

Once we determine if your visits will be covered by The Lactation Network, we can set you up for an appointment. And if you’re not covered? I will still see you and we will work out the details of payment in which I will provide what is called a SUPER BILL for you to submit to insurance for reimbursement. We will figure it out!

If you’re one of the lucky ones that is approved by TLN, you will receive up to 6 covered visits with me. It’s amazing! If you are pregnant and plan to breastfeed, you can check into it right now to get the process rolling. Just pull out that phone and scan the code. Simple as that!
