Infant Massage Focus Class: Gas & Colic

How many of you have ever had a baby or do have a baby that is inconsolable despite having been fed and changed for a clean diaper, but still seems to be crying for no reason? It’s me over here waving my hand fiercely!! I remember clearly—every evening we would start the routine. She was fed, she got her bath, and then out of nowhere she cried. And she cried and she cried some more without any reason we could figure out.

You are not alone. I remember my mom was able to empathize because she too went through it with one of her children. (it wasn’t me1 ha!) Honestly, it is much more common than you think. If only I had known then what I know now, I believe we could have offered some relief for all of us in those trying times.

When Shine came to be, my vision was to offer to new moms, babies and families what I felt was missing when I was raising my own children. Infant Massage is one of the tools I wish we had known and in our baby toolkit when raising our kiddos. Good news for all of you, I became certified in infant massage education this past spring and am offering classes for you!

Sometimes the commitment of a full class is overwhelming. It’s overwhelming adding a new member to the family regardless, right? That’s where the idea of the focus class was developed. The focus class gives you parent resources, massage oil, and a life-long tool you can use to focus on babies who may be a little fussy in the evenings, or maybe is just fidgety and you don’t know what to do? Infant Massage gas and colic routine may be the answer for you!

I am offering private in-home classes which last for 30 minutes. Included is your choice of massage oil and a parent resource which explains all of the movements I will have taught you. I am also adding a “baby yoga” routine which is such a fun way to help your baby move and stretch and can be done any time.

This private class is $50 and I will come to you when it works for YOUR schedule knowing that flexibility is the name of the game when it comes to babies!
